Case Study: Site Redesign for Integra Backup Services

There is no formula for redesigning a site. Each company has a different brand mood and objective, changing the site’s structure and message. With the site for Integra System Technologies, there was no inventory, shopping cart, or checkout system. The goal was not to directly drive sales, but to instill confidence and trust in the data backup services of Integra.

Why do you need protection? How does its backup system work? Why choose Integra instead of a competitor?  Here’s how we addressed these concerns:

The home page features a large banner immediately informing the visitor that the services are simple and affordable. Studies have shown that human faces and text attract more attention than an object – faces even moreso than text. The gentleman on the banner is redirecting the viewer’s attention to the main message – managed file protection is affordable, even for mid-sized businesses. A wide, clean design accommodates important info while welcoming visitors. Integra’s beautiful, rebranded logo rounds out the page, reflecting the style and tone of the primary content.

Internal pages provide more detailed explanations of service packages. Managed and on-site data backup plans are broken down so companies can easily see which plan would suit them best. A chart also compares Integra’s services to its largest competitors, highlighting the steep trade-offs in cost and services available.

This intuitive pricing chart details the amount of storage available at your company’s desired price point. Integra can handle small or large file requirements, making it ideal for growing businesses. Although this immediate quote is not final, it gives visitors a low-commitment way to consider Integra’s solutions. Prospective customers can always submit their full info for a more detailed quote, but we wanted them to see how immediately affordable these plans are.

This page features an expandable list of questions that lean toward the technical side. They include specifics on requirements, services, and data storage methods. The more info provided to users upfront, the more likely they are to take the next step. In Integra’s case, this page provides an additional layer of legitimacy, customer service expectation, and tech data that can further nudge readers towards a subscription.
